For the average office worker who goes through one disposable cup per working day, a year of reusing a glass or ceramic mug would reduce office waste by more nearly 9 pounds, and save the company more than $20 on break-room supplies.

If 20 percent of all U.S. office workers drank from a reusable glass or mug, offices around the country could save more than $325 million on disposable beverage containers, and prevent the creation of more than 140 million pounds of garbage-enough to fill a 71 story office building.
