Reuse Your Halloween Decorations

If you're going to buy Halloween decorations, plan to save them for use again next year instead of tossing them in the garbage on All Saints Day (that would be the day after Halloween).

If you reuse your decorations from year to year instead of buying new ones each holiday, you'll likely reduce your Halloween spending by $20 or more annually.

Americans buy nearly $1.58 billion worth of Halloween decorations each year. If each festive household could save just $5 per year by reusing some of their decorations from the previous year, the annual savings would total $420 million-enough to heat every U.S. home for one hour each day during the first week of November.
