Instantaneous water heater

Also called tankless water heater or demand water heater. Hot water when you need it, without wasted energy. That's the promise of this system, which heats water only when it is called for. Depending on usage, this style can be anywhere from eight to 50 percent more efficient that the conventional, storage water heater, which keeps a tank of water heated constantly and leads to standby heat loss. The downside can be limited output, so if your household is large, someone may end up with a cold shower. Installing multiple heaters can solve this problem.
